Braun Strowman is ready for his clash with Gunther.
Speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Braun Strowman offered a preview of his Intercontinental Championship match with Gunther on the January 13 episode of WWE SmackDown. Strowman says there’s a reason people call Gunther a ring general, but he’ll show Gunther why he’s the Monster of All Monsters on Friday.
“Any opportunity that we have as WWE Superstars to wrestle for a WWE title, it’s what we’re here for, representing this company to the max. My first singles title that I ever raised over my head was the Intercontinental Championship. It sure would look good hoisting that thing up for a second time. But I got a formidable foe coming in this Friday with Gunther. We’ve mixed it up a little bit here and there, and he’s done a pretty good job eluding me. I don’t blame him because not to many people want these [hands] on them.
“So I’m looking forward to getting in there and mixing it to. He’s a big, strapping young man. He’s done an unbelievable transformation with his body. They call him a ring general for a reason. He knows his way around the ring. He damn near dislocated my shoulder the other week on SmackDown, so again, I love competition. I love a challenge. Life’s short, so it’s making the most out of it. Let’s see what happens. It’s two big meaty men in there, gonna go in there and chop some meat. At the end of the day, they call me the Monster of All Monsters for a reason, and I’m gonna show everyone when I walk into Green Bay this Friday.”
