Taya Valkyrie Is Open To Future Creative Role, Collaborating With Rosemary Is Like Word Vomit

Taya Valkyrie hilariously compares her creative conversations on the phone with fellow IMPACT Knockout Rosemary to word vomit.

IMPACT Knockout Taya Valkyrie was the latest guest on Wilde On with Taylor Wilde to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked if she had any interest in a producer role down the line in professional wrestling, Valkyrie said she would love to because she loves the creative side of professional wrestling.

“Absolutely. I feel like I am very good in the position and the role of the creative side of it and the visual aspects of wrestling, and character and promos and things like that. I would absolutely love that,” Taya Valkrie admitted. “It’s something I want to learn to do. I think it’s very interesting, and the television aspect and what it takes to be in the truck. And what is it that makes the show just that much better?

“Because this is a business where we can do so many different things, and I think that more women should be in those positions. So I definitely would want to take the opportunity to learn to do that. And to help other people come up with how they want to present themselves or what the story could be. For example, I feel like Rosemary is one of the most creative people I’ve ever worked with and when we talk on the phone about ideas, it’s like word vomit. We could just write a story for the next year. We work really well together, and I just would love to continue to do that and be able to do that for other people too.”

Valkyrie pinpointed her organic transition in IMPACT from a heel to a babyface thanks to her pairing with Rosemary.

“Before I went to WWE, we were really walking that line because I just kind of organically changed from being a heel to a babyface,” Taya Valkyrie said. “Especially with my interactions with her because at the end of the day, people are gonna want to love who they want to love or hate who they want to hate. And sometimes you just can’t force it down their throat, and I feel like it’s really important to listen to the fans and what their natural reactions are to what is happening. So that kind of happened then, and then I tried to kill Johnny Bravo and all that stuff. It was great. And then when I came back, being put with her and Jessicka, it’s just been like this super fun ride so far.

“Watching her transform and just be — I’ve known Jessicka for years obviously, Jessicka the human. She has been doing so well for so long, and just to see her really embrace this character change and go 110% and really bring out this person that she’s always just had inside of her, I feel like Jessicka really is the true Jess,” Taya Valkyrie said. “It’s really fun to see people’s reaction to that and to watch her discovering this new character.”
