Eddie Kingston and Sammy Guevara have reportedly agreed to squash their beef and move on.
“The Mad King” recently completed a suspension from AEW after he confronted Guevara backstage. He reportedly took issue with Guevara calling him fat during a promo, among other issues. Both men commented on the matter, with Guevara sharing his side of the story and Kingston admitting that he acted unprofessionally.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Kingston, who has been absent due to his suspension, is back for the August 31 taping of AEW Dynamite. Johnson cited multiple sources who stated that Kingston and Guevara met backstage, apologized for what happened, and shook hands. They then agreed that their issues were in the past, so everyone would be moving on.
Kingston will face Tomohiro Ishii on the Zero Hour show ahead of All Out. As of this writing, it’s unclear whether Guevara will be on the card.
