Wardlow is learning from some Top Guys.
Wardlow recently appeared on The Zaslow Show on 560 Sports WQAM where he was asked about getting advice from veterans in the business. Wardlow said that QT Marshall and Billy Gunn are some of the coaches he can go to, but he mainly leans on three of his former Pinnacle stablemates.
“Billy Gunn has helped me tremendously. QT [Marshall] is somebody you could always go to for advice. He’s got an incredible mind for the business. But mostly, my old Pinnacle brothers who I’m actually reuniting with a couple of them, FTR, Cash and Dax, and Shawn Spears,” Wardlow noted. “They’re the three that have really taken me under their wing and have taught me so much. I can go to those guys about anything and they’ll help me out.”
In regards to FTR, Wardlow said that they make a formidable trio and he would put them up against any other team in AEW right now.
“I’m telling you right now, and excuse my language, but we would beat the sh-t out of that entire roster. I know we’re getting trios titles, but there ain’t three people on that roster that can even come close to the three of us,” he said. “And if anyone wants to put their money on it, step up because there ain’t three dudes on that roster that are tougher than the three of us, or more capable.”
