Matt Cardona understands the importance of social media in the current landscape of professional wrestling.
IMPACT Wrestling star Matt Cardona answered questions from the media this weekend at Starrcast V and provided some interesting insight on multiple subjects. When asked about something he believes people should incorporate more in today’s professional wrestling, Cardona spoke about the importance of social media.
“I think social media is so important, and a lot of the places like GCW right, they get it,” Matt Cardona said. “They’re on the ball. Even NWA, we get emails every week with here are the match graphics. So everybody post, post, post. I believe that content is very important. You can’t post enough.
“Then there are some shows that I go to; like, do you guys even post about this show? That’s not my job. You all need to send me a graphic! I think social media is very important. It’s a lot of work. I don’t want to be on my phone all day long, but I got to make it happen. I’m self-made. I’m gonna push myself, and the only way to do it right now is social media. So that’s why I’m the Internet Champion.”
Matt Cardona is now ready to return to the ring, as the NWA just announced he will be in action at NWA 74. Read more about Cardona’s return at this link.
