Logan Paul is ready for WWE SummerSlam.
A few months after he made his in-ring debut at WWE WrestleMania 38, Paul signed with WWE. He will return to the ring at “The Biggest Party of the Summer” to face his former tag teanm partner, The Miz.
WWE shared a clip of Paul training for the match, and the video is narrated by the social media star. He states that SummerSlam will have to be even “bigger”, so he has to put in the work.
“Hey, you all thought WrestleMania was crazy? Wait until you see this s—,” said Paul. “WrestleMania was big. SummerSlam needs to be bigger, so we gotta put in the work. We came to Connecticut because they have a ring here, and we’re gonna be training today. Without putting in the work, this is not gonna work, so I came here to see what I could do.”
Over a montage of him training with Shane Helms, Paul described how he fell in love with wrestling, and he stated that he comes naturally to him. He shared his belief that he makes significant improvement every time he practices.
“I have to be honest, WWE was sort of my manager’s idea. He thought I’d be good at it, and I’d never really considered it as a part of my career, but after WrestleMania, like most things that I try and end up doing, I just kind of fell in love with it. I went back to the locker room and I was like this is a fun sport, the crowd reacted amazing, and I think most important for me is I believe I’m good at it. I think it comes natural to me. I love being in the ring. I’m super comfortable, I love doing flips, I love doing slams, being physical and putting on a show.
“I’m excited to get back in there, man. Feel good every time I practice. I genuinely feel like I get exponentially better. I might have been made to do this. I might have been born to wrestle. We’ll find out. Everyone hits me up and they’re like, ‘Yo, you are built for this. You’re made for this, lean into it.’ I’m starting to see what they see, and it’s always such an honor when people believe in me before I believe in myself. I think with the WWE, that’s another case of that happening.”
After the training session, Paul made it clear that he’s having fun, and he emphasized that he feels like he was meant for this.
“I cannot believe how fun this is,” said Paul. “I’m getting good, dude. I’m getting good. I f—— feel like I was meant for this s—. I love it, I love it. SummerSlam I’m ready dude, like I was ready yesterday. Put me in the match, dog. Let me at The Miz. Take the muzzle off the dog. The kid’s f—— hot.”
