KENTA Issues First Comments
In an interview with Tokyo Sports, KENTA issued his first public comments about signing with WWE. However, he didn't say much at all:
"Right now, There is nothing that I can say at this time. I will announce my plans when the time is right for me to announce them."
Puroresu Spirit reports that KENTA is waiting on his work visa to clear before he makes any type of official announcement. It's expected that a press conference will be held in Japan sometime in the next few days for Kenta to talk more openly about WWE, plus address the media.
Wade Barrett Shirts Sell Out
With WWE being in the UK for RAW this week, it was expected that new Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett would do well in the merchandise department. However, his shirts apparently sold out prior to the RAW taping even starting, reports PWInsider.com. Barrett mentioned on Twitter that there would be additionally merch by show time, however.
Additionally, WWE Diva Paige's merchandise has also been selling extremely well.
Update On Willie Mack Signing
We reported earlier that WWE signed independent wrestler Willie Mack. While he's most likely going to be signed, PWInsider.com is reporting that Mack has yet to do WWE's medical testing, so he can't "officially" be signed until those are completed.
