Ronda Rousey walked out to issue an open challenge for her WWE Raw Women’s Championship on Monday Night Raw. Surprisingly, it was none other than her friend Natalya‘s music that started playing. However, it wasn’t a betrayal, but a ruthless mugging by the Riott Squad, who were dragging Natalya down the entrance.
The trio of Liv Morgan, Ruby Riott, and Sarah Logan went on to overwhelm Rousey. The beatdown looked rough, and Riott delivered a huge spear against the champion. Luckily for Rousey, the odds were evened up when Nikki and Brie Bella ran down to the ring. They were able to save the champion from further damage.

Considering the Bella Twins are set to tag with Ronda Rousey against the Riott Squad at WWE Super Show-Down, tonight’s events set things up quite well (almost as if it was scripted programming). We’ll see if Rousey can get her revenge in Australia on October 6.
