The New Number One Contenders for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship were confirmed when Rusev and Aiden English defeated Cesaro and Sheamus. In a hard-fought contest, the Rusev Day duo escaped in the last second when English sacrificed himself taking a Brogue Kick for Rusev. This gave his partner enough time to recover and strike Sheamus with a Maschka Kick for the win.
