NXT stand-out Velveteen Dream has taken to social media in order to send an interesting message to the WWE Universe. Dream, who defeated EC3 at Takeover: Brooklyn IV, has been known to cause a stir on Twitter every now and again, and it seems as if this latest tweet could pick up some steam. Many consider Velveteen to be one of the most promising young performers in NXT at the age of just 23.
UPDATE: Dream just deleted the tweet, which asked fans to stop ‘blaming billionaires’ after starting off by calling himself an independent contractor. Then, Velveteen proceeded to, essentially, tell fans that it’s up to the performers to reach that next level, and that the WWE shouldn’t be blamed for their shortcomings. He then posted the below tweet, with the official WZ account posting up the original.
