WWE SmackDown Live superstar Rusev revealed his favorite SummerSlam memory of all time and talked about three potential WrestleMania dream match during an interview with the Gorilla Press. “The Bulgarian Brute” also told the reporter that his “most-annoying habit” is being stubborn and shared his thoughts on the controversial Hulk Hogan.
During the interview, Rusev was asked about his favorite SummerSlam memory. The former WWE United States Champion told the Gorilla Press that his flag match against Jack Swagger at SummerSlam 2014 is his favorite memory involving WWE’s “biggest party of the summer.” Rusev also told the reporter that he was a big wrestling fan growing up, watching wrestlers such as Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bret Hart.
Towards the end of the interview, Rusev revealed his three top WrestleMania dream match. “The Bulgarian Brute” picked Hulk Hogan as his top dream opponent, followed by Raw General Manager Kurt Angle and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
Rusev looked surprised when the interview suggested that “Hogan” is a dirty word now-a-days. “The Bulgarian Brute” went on to defend the Hulkster, mentioning that he’s very knowledge about pro wrestling and is back in the WWE Hall of Fame.
“Hogan, any day. He’s the man I started watching wrestling because of him and I feel in love. I came to America because of him so I could become a professional wrestler. So, definitely Hogan.”
“The Bulgarian Brute” said he met Hogan many times and spoke with him a couple weeks ago about WrestleMania matches.
“I’ve talked to him a couple weeks about…different matches with Warrior in WrestleMania XI, with The Rock in Toronto. He knows so much and he has so much experience and so many stories to tell.”
