Jinder Mahal Feels Motivated For Not Being On SummerSlam Card

Jinder Mahal Interview: On his WWE title reign, what Vince thought of it & THAT Punjabi Prison match

Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal spoke with a reporter with Gorilla Press and told him that he feels “motivated” for the fact that has not on the card at SummerSlam. Mahal noted that he needs to look deep into myself and find out what he makes him successful:

“You know, it’s motivating to me – it’s motivation to me because I see where I was last year, WWE Champion. Unfortunately, this year… I don’t have a match. I could be disappointed. I can play the blame game or I could look deep in myself… and I gotta go back to what made me WWE Champion. So, next year, I could be Universal Champion or WWE Champion and main event SummerSlam again.

Mahal appeared to be in a good mood throughout the interview and jokingly offered the reporter a role as one of his Singh Brothers. “The Modern Day Maharaja” doesn’t appear discouraged that he was left off the card at this year’s SummerSlam event. Last year, Mahal successfully defended his WWE Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura.
