Backstage, Angle yells at Corbin about not being happy about Corbin going over his head to get matches made tonight. Corbin brushes Angle off and says he has to go to the ring. Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre walk into Angle’s office and ask where Seth Rollins is. Angle says Rollins was on his way back from China and had some travel issues. Ziggler says they are going to wait there. Angle says he isn’t in the mood. Angle tells them to hit the bricks.
Baron Corbin vs Tyler Breeze
Corbin takes Breeze over with an arm drag. Corbin boots Breeze in the face. Breeze lands a dropkick. Corbin rolls out of the ring. Breeze dives off the apron but Corbin catches Breeze and sends him into the barricade. Corbin brings Breeze back into the ring and lays into him with a few stiff boots. Breeze manages to surprise Corbin with a step-up enziguri on the outside. Breeze front flips into the ring and runs right into the deep six. Corbin gets the three count.
Winner- Baron Corbin
After the match, Corbin says he will do to Finn Bálor Sunday what he did to Breeze tonight. Corbin announces Jinder Mahal as Bálor’s opponet tonight. Mahal and Sunil Singh walk to the ring. Corbin says Bálor says he is a big star so Bálor should be ok wrestling two superstars at once. Mahal’s tag team partner tonight will be Kevin Owens.
Kurt Angle comes out on the stage and says he couldn’t cancel this match but he can add to it. Angle gives Bálor a tag partner…
