Mae Young Classic Competitor Reportedly Injured At Tonight’s Tapings (Includes Spoilers)

Mae Young Classic competitor Tegan Nox was apparently injured during tonight’s quarterfinals match against Rhea Ripley.

According to live reports, Nox hurt her knee early in the match, and the referee threw up the ‘X’ to signal the injury. The match continued, but they ended up calling for the bell and medics checked on Nox again after the win was awarded to Ripley.

Triple H came out later in the taping and acknowledged the injury, saying she wasn’t leaving with a broken leg, but is leaving with a broken heart. He also said this was just a bump in the road for her.

Nox (aka Nixon Newell / Steffanie Newell) was also scheduled to be a part of last year’s Mae Young Classic, but was pulled before the tournament began due to an ACL injury.
