Kane recently won the mayoral race for Knox County, Tennessee and was interview by Sports Illustrated’s Extra Mustard section. Kane revealed that Vince McMahon himself sent him a congratulatory text after his win.
Kane said that Vince’s message left him choked up because of how important it was to him that Vince was proud of him. Kane also said that Vince had been supportive throughout the process and always wanted everyone to do well because it reflected well on the WWE.
