Bully Ray On How WWE Can Make Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns IV Stand Out At Summerslam

Bully Ray and Dave LaGreca recently spoke about the Universal Championship match at Summerslam on Busted Open Radio. Bully offered comments about how bringing Braun Strowman’s Money In The Bank briefcase will make the match stand out:

Even if you put the match on first, it’s still just a straight up match. If you still get a straight up finish, it’s—I don’t know—I think that Money In The Bank briefcase will come into play. Early and late.

Bully added, saying he doesn’t necessarily think Braun Strowman is the man to cash in at Summerslam:

This is completely in the opposite direction; what if Kevin Owens walks out of Summerslam as your champion?

If Owens walks out of Summerslam as the champion, does Roman [Reigns] beat him the next night on RAW? I don’t think so, I think it makes Roman look weak. If Roman doesn’t beat Brock, he looks weak.

If Owens gets a pop, it’s because it’s going away from guys that [the fans] can’t stand. They can’t stand Brock because he’s a part-timer, and they can’t stand Roman just for the sake that they can’t stand Roman. The pop is not going to be for any genuine emotion; they are going to be popping because of a title change and because the belt is away from these guys.
