Speculation On New Summerslam Matches

There are six official matches currently on the card for this year’s WWE Summerslam.

These include:

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns
WWE Champion A.J. Styles vs Samoa Joe
RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss vs Ronda Rousey
Smackdown Women’s Champion Carmella vs Becky Lynch
MITB Briefcase Match: Braun Strowman vs Kevin Owens
Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler vs Seth Rollins
Smackdown Champions The Bludgeon Brothers vs SD Tournament Winners

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter speculates that there are two other matches that are virtual locks. These include:

Daniel Bryan vs The Miz
Triple Threat: United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura vs Jeff Hardy vs Randy Orton

Other possible matches include:

Bobby Roode vs Mojo Rawley
Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander vs Drew Gulak
Finn Balor vs Baron Corbin
RAW Tag Team Championship Match with multiple teams
John Cena vs The Undertaker

How Well Did Slammiversary Do With Fans?

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter polled fans as to what they thought about last weekend’s Impact Slammiversary pay-per-view.

99.5% of fans polled gave the pay-per-view a thumb up to a resounding score of 189-1.

Fans also ranked Pentagon Jr. vs Sami Callihan as the night’s best match.
