Stu Bennett fka Wade Barrett in WWE, talked to Mirror about the reboot of World of Sport Wrestling and its packed roster, while also revealing if we can see him in the ring sometime in the future. You can check out the highlights from the interview below:
Stu Bennett on impressive members of the roster:
“There’s a few big names on there, we’ve got a guy called Will Ospreay who’s made a massive name for himself in Japan and amongst other areas and you just need to watch him for 10 seconds to realise this guy is a once in a generation type talent. He has the aerial skills that I didn’t even think that were possible for human beings to move the way he moves. He’s like a stunt man and an acrobat in one and combined with on top of all that, his in-ring skills are incredible. If you like flashy, spectacular style wrestlers, he is your man, I promise you there’s nobody better on the planet than him.
On top of that there’s another guy called Rampage, who I’m a huge fan of. I’ve known him for about 15 years and he’s just the meanest, nastiest wrestler that I’ve ever come across in my years inside the wrestling ring. So personally as a career villain in the wrestling world, I kinda admire the bad guys more than the fan favourites so, he’s one of my favourites. I know kids are going to love a guy called Grado, he’s more of a comedian style wrestler, he’s kind of a thorn in my side to be honest with you, but I know the kids will love him and he’s a great family style wrestler.
Then we’ve got another guy called Joe Hendry, a Scottish wrestler, who actually competed for Scotland in the Commonwealth Games recently in freestyle wrestling, so he’s a legit bona fide athlete himself. We’ve just got a interesting range of wrestlers with every sort of skill set you can imagine and then on top of that, we’re really promoting the women’s division. We’ve got five or six top women’s wrestlers there who are really going to blow your mind.”

On if he will wrestle at WOS Wrestling:
“Ha ha, you just want to see me get beat up some more, I get it. So my deal is, I’m on a bit of a career sabbatical at the moment. I wrestled for 14 or 15 years. I’ve got a bunch of injuries, I’m tired, I’m getting old, I’m getting some grey hair now. I promise you Morgan that at some point I will be back in the ring and maybe that will take place in WOS. We’ll have to see.”
