Rare Ted DiBiase Photos Unearthed

Self described wrestling fanatic John McAdam recently found a couple of “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase photos he snapped some thirty years ago. The pictures were taken at the Boston Garden, the afternoon after DiBiase “won” the WWE Championship. The photos are particularly rare because DiBiase didn’t have much time with that Title. WWE President Jack Tunney deemed DiBiase’s purchase of the title (from Andre the Giant) an illegal act and DiBiase was thereby stripped of the WWE Championship. The WWE Championship was put on the line at WrestleMania IV via tournament. That tournament was won by none other than “Macho Man” Randy Savage, who captured his very first WWE Championship by beating DiBiase in the tournament finals. Although he won multiple WWE Tag Titles & made the Million Dollar Belt famous, DiBiase would never again don the WWE Championship.
