A free-of-accent Santino Marella showed up on Impact Wrestling last night to support one of his trainees and his interview was interrupted by the Impact Wrestling Champion, Austin Aries. Aries called Marella (now going by his real name Anthony Carelli) everything short of a coward, challenging The Milan Miracle to step in the ring with him. Carelli’s protege, however, accepted Aries’ challenge and a match between the two is set for next week. Carelli and Aries exchanged a few barbs on Twitter after last night’s episode:
