Conor McGregor has agreed to a plea deal that will see him avoid jail time for the April incident that saw him throw a objects at a bus in Brooklyn.
MMAJunkie reports McGregor will undergo five days of community service and between one and three days of anger management classes. He was also ordered to pay restitution for his role in the bus incident that injured two UFC fighters traveling on the vehicle. According to the Assistant District Attorney on the case, McGregor has already paid damages. His teammate, Cian Cowley, who was also involved in the incident, was given three days community service and anger management classes.
McGregor made brief statement to media after the ruling, saying:
“I just want to say I’m thankful to the DA and the judge for allowing me to move forward. I want to say to my friends, my family, my fans, thank you for the support.”

McGregor was originally charged with two felonies, but those counts were dropped and he was ordered to not have contact with UFC fighters Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg, who were on the bus and injured by glass shards.
The Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office also issued the following statement:
“This is a fair resolution that holds the defendant accountable, ensures restitution for the victims and requires the defendant to perform community service where he can reflect on his conduct and give back to society.”
