Daniel Cormier was in attendance for ESPN’s Sports Humanitarian Awards on Tuesday and he was asked about Hulk Hogan‘s reinstatement. Cormier states that if we’ve learned anything from any sport that “if you’re willing to learn from the mistakes, then you get another opportunity.”
The interview then turned to Cormier playing fortune teller about who would beat Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam. DC gave a competitor’s response, saying “maybe I’ll beat Brock for the Universal Title.”
DC as WWE Universal Champion? I don’t care how few of appearances he makes, sign me up. The man’s a proven fan and the cross-branding would be Captain Insano. Although chances are very slim to none to never occur at once considering it would certainly hurt the UFC’s legitimacy due to the story telling aspect, WWE would absolutely benefit.
