CM Punk And AJ Lee To Appear In New Horror Film
ThePopBreak is reporting CM Punk and AJ Lee are set to appear in a remake of David Cronenberg’s classic horror movie Rabid.
The film is currently in production in Toronto, and it is being directed by horror veterans (and See No Evil 2 directors) The Soska Sisters. Rabid also stars Laura Vandervoort, Ben Hollingsworth, Henneke Talbot and Mackenzie Gray. The film follows Rose (Vandervoort), a woman who elects to have an experimental surgery to fix an accidental disfigurement, and the new transformation comes at a price. The film reimagines Cronenberg’s 1977 horror feature film which was executive produced by Ivan Reitman.
The Soska Sisters commented on the movie, saying:
“It’s a tremendous honor to be re-imagining David Cronenberg’s 1977 body horror classic, Rabid, with such incredible support behind us. We are not fans of the current trend of soulless remakes as they disrespect the fans and the original body of work. Our Rabid is a continuation of the thoughts and conversation David started, but modernized through a female perspective. The film will not only honor his original Rabid but also Cronenberg’s entire body of work. This would not have been possible without a team behind us that cares about the artist as well as the fans.”
The Miz Hosts A Funeral For Team Hell No
The following video features footage from tonight’s episode of Smackdown Live where The Miz hosted a funeral for Team Hell No. Miz and some pallbearers came out with a Kane mannequin head, and Miz it’s time to say bye to Team Hell No. He talked about how many times Kane turned on Bryan, and said he told them all how this would end.
Miz continued to bash Kane, then said Daniel Bryan was just killing his own legacy by allowing this to continue. Bryan then ran out and the pallbearers turned to fight Bryan, but Bryan ran in from behind and beat Miz up. Miz ended up breaking free, but Bryan beat up the pallbearers to end the segment.
