Number 6: Tama Tonga

Tama Tonga is finally the leader of The Bullet Club. Yes it’s a splinter group, but his version is a little more like the BC of old, as opposed to the babyface-ish Bullet Club Elite. Tama already has a win in the G1 Climax and helped Bad Luck Fale beat Kazuchika Okada on Night 3. Likely to do well over the course of the G1, it’s nice to see one of the few originals of the Bullet Club finally stepping out of Cody & Kenny’s shadow and into the spotlight.

Number 5: AJ Styles

AJ Styles is having a very good year. He dominated his rivalry with Shinsuke Nakamura and had the best match of Rusev’s career at Extreme Rules. The only problem is that AJ Styles is the WWE Champion at a time when the title couldn’t mean less. (Actually it could, it could be the Universal Title) Since AJ is rarely closing the show, it can be easy to miss the banner year that he’s having.
