Goto and SANADA spent the entire match trying to hit their finishing moves on each other. SANADA always found a way to wriggle out of GTR, while Goto’s perspiration kept SANADA from being able to lock in Skull End. Both men reversed each other’s finisher into the other’s finisher. SANADA hit an Ushiguroshi in the middle of the match. Goto showed off a top-rope draping GTR. After a wild series of counters, Goto finally hits GTR for the pinfall.

NINTH MATCH: B Block Match: Kota Ibushi (0 pts) vs. Zack Sabre Jr. (0 pts)
Sabre dominated this match with his slippery, wild-mercury offense. Ibushi stuck to stiff strikes for his attack strategy. Both men were adept at countering each other, Sabre even countered the Golden Triangle Moonsault with an ankle lock on the apron. Sabre stretched Ibushi in such sickening positions that the ringside physician eventually got close to the ring to keep an eye on Ibushi. Ibushi managed to get to the ropes every time. Ibushi finally hit Kamigoye to get the pinfall after 20ish minutes of intense wrestling.
