Tonight’s episode of NXT saw Moustache Mountain unsuccessfully defend the NXT Tag-Team Titles against Kyle O’ Reilly and Roderick Strong of the Undisputed Era. Strong and O’Reilly worked on Trent Seven’s knee throughout the match and it ended with O’Reilly locking in a double heel hook to Seven. Trent Seven couldn’t reach his partner and it ended with Tyler Bate throwing in the white towel despite Seven imploring him not to.
