WWE recently ran a poll asking fans which superstar they want included in the multi-man bout at Extreme Rules to earn a title shot opportunity at Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. The poll includes names such as Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Drew McIntyre, among other members of the Raw roster.
Brock Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman didn’t like WWE asking the Universe who they want to see face Lesnar because according to Heyman, it is Lesnar who chooses who he wants to face. The advocate for the Universal Champion made a post on his Facebook page where he took shots at the potential challengers for Lesnar.
“Who’s going to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship? Whomever is big enough box office to lure Brock Lesnar into a match that makes Brock Lesnar the type of money he commands for a fight. Who’s that going to be?” asked Lesnar in the Facebook post. “Roman Reigns? The second generation superstar who was second to beat Undertaker at WrestleMania, who failed in his second WrestleMania attempt to take the top title from Brock Lesnar, and similarly failed in his second attempt this year alone in Saudi Arabia? No, Brock Lesnar has no interest in the Sloppy Second Samoan! Bobby Lashley?”
Heyman also deemed “The Man Who Would Be Lesnar” Bobby Lashley as unworthy of being Lesnar’s opponent, and basically the entire Raw roster.
