Enzo Amore spoke to the Store Horsemen podcast and discussed his storyline with Nia Jax. Enzo said he was getting so much heat at the time of the storyline that it wouldn’t be appreciated until years later. He added that Vince wanted to position him as a tweener. Enzo also said that his romantic storyline with Nia Jax was supposed to end with Nia discovering that Enzo was cheating on her with her best friend Alexa Bliss.
Enzo added that Vince had told him that his character was supposed to toy with Nia to get her to help him win his matches.
