NXT Women’s Championship Match: Shayna Baszler (c) vs Nikki Cross
Baszler goes to her fighting stance. Cross stares at Baszler. Cross tells Baszler to hit her. Baszler pushes Cross. Cross is… happy? Cross turns her back. Baszler tries to attack but Cross avoids it and hops on Baszler’s back with a sleeper. Baszler turns it into a sleeper of her own but Cross sends Baszler to the outside. Cross trips Baszler into the ring skirt. Cross beats the hell out of Baszler while she is trapped. Baszler eventually escapes. Cross jumps on Baszler’s back again. Baszler drops Cross back first on the metal ramp. Baszler sends Cross back into the ring. Baszler knees Cross in the face and gets a near fall. Baszler mounts Cross and lays into her with rights and lefts.
Cross tries to fire up but Baszler knees Cross in the jaw again. Baszler hits the ropes and knees Cross again. Cross sits up and asks for more. Baszler tries it again but Cross catches Baszler’s knee. Baszler tries to lock in the Kirifuda Clutch but Cross drops Baszler on the back of her head with a suplex. Cross stomps Baszler in the corner. Cross goes up top. High cross body by Cross. Baszler kicks out. Baszler rolls out to the apron. Cross hits a Christian style reverses DDT on Baszler on the apron., Baszler kicks out. Cross tries to set up her finish but Baszler hits another leaping knee. Baszler locks in the Kirifuda Clutch. Cross sends Baszler into the top turnbuckle. Cross hits a hangman’s neck breaker off the top turnbuckle. Baszler kicks out. Baszler Cross tries to pick up Baszler but Baszler traps Cross in the Kirifuda Clutch. Cross tries to fight out of it. Cross sits up. Cross smiles. Baszler puts Cross to sleep.
