As reported by LA Times, UFC 225 supposedly had less than 150,000 pay-per-view buys. Many fans were predicting that it would at least hit the 300,000 mark, and while the PPV business has been struggling in many different sports, the UFC was clearly hoping for big numbers courtesy of their decision to put CM Punk on the main card.
