MAIN EVENT: ROH World Tag Team Championship Match – The Young Bucks vs. The Briscoes (c)

Chairs get thrown into the ring by the Briscoes and Nick Jackson vaults a chair into Jay Briscoe‘s face (for some reason Jay does not put his hands up, but decides to take the chair throw unprotected). Brawl goes to the outside. Mark Briscoe suplexes Nick onto the apron, but the Bucks recover to dive through the ropes onto the Briscoes. The Bucks then synchronize a double powerbomb onto the apron to go to commercial.

Back from break we see that the Briscoes have taken control of the match. Matt Jackson tries to tag in Nick, but Mark cuts him off at the pass. He eventually knife edge chops Matt, but Matt spears Mark and tags in Nick for the hot tag, He spin kicks away at both Briscoes and connects with both of them for a bulldog clothesline. Springboard dropkick to Jay Briscoe that sends him to the outside and Matt & Nick hit Mark with a superkick. They run to the outside to superkick Jay. They climb back into the ring to deliver a simultaneous moonsault and frog splash onto Mark for two. Nick goes for a 450 but Mark rolls out of harms way and Nick lands safely, rolls through, but gets smacked with a running chop. Matt Jackson gets tagged for a uranagi counter. The Bucks go to lock in a “Cease & Desist” but Jay powers out. Jay goes for a sharpshooter on Nick and Mark chickenwings Matt. Ref lifts the arm of Matt, but he shows life until the Bricoes deliver a double-team inverted cutter for a pin attempt. Kick out. Briscoes are surprised. They take Matt to the corner in a doomsday device, they connect, but Matt flips on his feet to hit Mark with a superkick but Jay catches him with a Jay Driller for a two-count. Crowd pops as Jay is astounded. “ROH” chant starts. Jay tries to bring a chair into the equation but Nick kicks him free. The Bucks go for a Five-Star Meltzer Driver, but Jay returns with a chair to the back on Nick to get disqualified.

Winners: Young Bucks by DQ

After the match, they double superplex Matt onto a stack of chairs center ring. Mark quickly runs to the back to avoid an entering Page and Flip Gordon who try to rescue the Bucks, but Mark attacks them from behind as the Briscoes continue their assault.

Enter Cody with chair as he fends the Briscoes off with a chair, but the number game plays a factor and Cody gets smacked in the kisser by an airborne chair. Briscoes stand tall in the ring as they stomp away on the rest of the Bullet Club and the show ends.

That main event was high-octane intense if I ever saw one. Briscoes look their most dastardly in the roles they’re currently positioned in. They give off an aurora off loose-cannon unpredictable and it suits them will. The Bucks are always amazing at what they can do in the ring. Only part that made me cringe was Jay Briscoe deciding to take a chair to the face totally unprotected (I even went back twice to see if my eyes deceived me). Definitely don’t need to do that to keep the fans’ interest. Overall as a show, however, it was a lot of action packed into an hour and I leave it very satisfied.
