Jim Cornette Feels That The WWE Should Pay Off Sami Zayn And The Women For GRR Snub
Jim Cornette was interviewed by Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez of F4Wonline.com recently and weighed in on a number of topics including WWE’s snub of Sami Zayn and the women for the Greatest Royal Rumble.
Sami Zayn didn’t board the flight to participate in the Greatest Royal Rumble as he’s from Syria, a country at odds with Saudi Arabia. Similarly, the Women’s roster didn’t make the trip either as they weren’t allowed to perform in the country.
Cornette said that while organizing the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia certainly made financial sense for the WWE, they should have sweetened the deal for Sami Zayn and the women for not allowing them to tag along and be a part of the payday.
