Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that WWE has filed a lawsuit against foreign television distributor Transworld Television for, “allegedly withholding money from the wrestling company.”

- According to documents filed in court today WWE entered into an agreement with TWT where TWT, “had the right to solicit TV license agreements for WWE within certain geographical areas”
- As part of the agreement TWT was required to collect the money for the television agreements and pay a portion back to WWE
- TWT made a agreement in 2014 with a company that licensed WWE content in Africa and the Middle East but failed to pay WWE any of the money they were owed following three payments that were made in 2017
- WWE is claiming that they have made several attempts, via invoices and e-mails, to collect the $337,142.98 they are owed by TWT
- WWE has yet to hear back from, or receive payments from, TWT
- WWE is asking the judge in the case to help them recoup the money they are owed plus interest and reimbursement for their legal fees
