MAIN EVENT: Matt Taven vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Cody
Cody enters with a “Not Barry” bear, but “Bernard The Business Bear.” Bernard gets the official announcement to the crowd as we cut to break.
Match starts with Taven caught in a web of punches by Daniels and Cody. Oopens up tfor Daniels and Cody to duke it out until Taven hits a split leg dropkick to break up the action. Heads to the outside as Cody hits Taven with a backdrop. He shakes the hand of Bernard before rolling back into the ring and giving Daniels a stalling suplex. Cody gets Irish whipped and dives to the outside onto Taven. Daniels hits Cody with an Arabian moonsault onto the outside.. Taven shoves Daniels into the post and Taven boots Rhodes in the face when he gets back into the ring not before attempting to hit Cody with his septor. Taven knees Cody in the mush and hits Daniels with the “Kick of The King” to send him off the apron and back to the outside. Taven rolls the dice with Cody for a two count. Daniels comes back into the ring to delive some offense that includes a Manhattan Drop and an STO. Hits a running forearm on Taven before Taven sends him to the outside again.Taven leaps over the ropes and Cody comes off the top too to pop the Sam’s Town crowd. Cody grins as we cut to the final break.
We return to Cody getting a two count on Taven after a powerslam. Action has not stopped according to Colt. Cody locks in the American Deathlock. Daniels hits a BME to break it up and gets a two count before Taven makes the save. Daniels and Taven trade punches until the two hit a double crossbody on each other. Taven rolls up Daniels with two feet on the ropes but Daniels kicks out. Daniels returns the favor with roll-up full of tights but Taven also kicks out.Taven attempts a Climax, but Daniels turns it into an Angel’s Wings attempt before Cody connects with a Beautiful Disaster on Daniels.Cdy dumps Taven and takes the moment to mock Omega with a “Rise of The Terminator.” Cody hits a Cross Rhodes on Daniels and goes for the pin, but Taven hits one rock solid frog splash off the top to break it up and get the pin on Daniels.
WINNER: Matt Taven via pinfall after 10:00 min.
After the match, Cody sheepishly grabs his ring as the announcers go to plug the Masters of The Craft event and we end the show.
Just a terrific main event. All guys got their moments to shine and Taven came out with a clean, credible win against two former ROH World Champions. All three were running on all cylinders. Bernard The Business Bear is extremely formal in his management skills.
