Huge Odds Shift In MLS Star Appearing At WrestleMania 34

Oddschecker has just sent the following to WZ:

The Wrestlemania rumour mill is in full flow in the lead up to this Sunday’s show, and a certain star footballer who recently moved to the US is being touted with an appearance in the squared circle.

Zlatan Ibrahimović, who recently joined MLS side LA Galaxy, is being tipped to not just attend Wrestlemania 34, but to star in it.

Sources suggest that the Swedish striker is keen on an appearance at the Showcase of the Immortals, and bookies have slashed odds on the superstar taking part in the show.

He was originally a 50/1 shot to appear on the Grandest Stage of them All, but that’s been cut into 16/1 with some bookmakers.

From a punters’ perspective, there’s been a plethora of attention on the market, with fans keen on backing the potential cross-over with football and wrestling.

The striker could follow in the footsteps of ex-United teammate Wayne Rooney, who slapped WWE Superstar Wade Barret when the sports-entertainment behemoth came to Manchester.

Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek said: “One of the more obscure rumours bookmakers have reacted to is Swedish sensation Zlatan Ibrahimović rocking up at Wrestlemania 34.

“With the striker making a recent move across the pond and his flair for the dramatic – it’s easy to see why this story is gathering pace.”
