Roman Reigns went to the ring and almost got the upper hand on Brock Lesnar, but a momentary distraction ended up giving Lesnar the opportunity to lay the ‘Big Dog’ out.
Paul Heyman and Lesnar were in the ring and Heyman cut a promo about Brock beating Roman on Sunday, and they laugh now, but they laughed before Brock broke the streak too. Heyman says accidents happen, and if Roman somehow won on Sunday, it’d be the last time you saw Brock in WWE because he’d wave hello to them from the UFC.
Heyman said everything he’s said about Brock is true, and no one can beat ‘the beast’, so Reigns should just accept the inevitable. Heyman said Reigns’ options are like his ass, because they both belong to Brock Lesnar, and he’ll have to go home and tell his family he lost. Heyman ended it by saying the simple fact is Roman is Brock’s bitch, which brought Roman to the stage.
Kurt Angle had already sent a group of RAW talents to block him, but Roman asked why the full-time talents were guarding a part-timer. The group ended up parting the way, and Roman marched to the ring and went to face off with Brock, but Brock went outside and got a chair. He went back in the ring and Roman surprised him with a Superman punch, then ended up connecting with four more. Roman picked up the WWE Universal Championship and stared up at the Wrestlemania sign, giving Brock enough time to recover and hit Roman with a F-5 to end the show.
