New Japan Pro Wrestling presents its annual April supershow, Sakura Genesis. The show is set to begin at 3am EST. Four of NJPW’s titles will be defended.
FIRST MATCH: Bullet Club (Chase Owens & Yujiro Takahashi) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson)
Nick and Owens start the match. Everyone gets in the ring and show respect to each other. Chase and Yujiro attack The Bucks. Bucks comeback with Stereo Dropkick. Assisted Dropkick to Owens, kick to Yujiro, stereo Plancchas to the outside.
Back in the ring, Nick pummels Owens in the corner. Owens tries to fight back but hits a Neckbreaker/Senton combo. Yujiro comes in and eats a double hiptoss, followed by a double dropkick. Yujiro hits a gut kick on Nick, Owens hits a High Knee. Yujiro beats on Matt at ringside. Owens corners Nick. Owens hits a throw and an elbow drop. Yujiro tags in.
Yujiro peppers Nick with punches. Yujiro hits a running legdrop. Chase tags in and hits a top rope axe handle. Chase hits a backbreaker for two. Yujiro tags in and slaps Nick’s chest.
Yujiro hits a snapmare and locks in a a chin lock. Yujiro hits a sliding boot for two. Owens tags in. Nick sends Owens into Yujiro. Jackson fights back against his Bullet Club brethren and hits a Shining Wizard. Chase hits a drop for two.
Nick flips out of a backdrop and tags in Matt. Matt hits a double clothesline on Yujiro and Chase. Matt hits a kick/Sliced Bread combo. Owens blocks a Superkick. Matt counters a powerbomb with a sunset flip and locks in a Sharpshooter. Yujiro breaks the hold.
Matt hits a double Spear. The Bucks hit stereo Asai Moonsaults for two. Nick hits Chase with a Superkick. Nick hits a Tope to Yujiro. Matt goes for Indytaker but Yujiro pulls Nick off the apron. Owens hits Jewel Heist for two.
Yujiro hits a Yakuza Kick. Yujiro hits a Fisherman Buster, Owens hits a Shining Wizard. Owens covers for two.
Owens goes for a Package Piledriver on Matt, but eats stereo superkicks. Nick takes out Yujiro. Matt locks in the Sharpshooter. Nick hits a Springboard Facebuster on Owens while he’s in the hold. Nick hits a Tornado DDT on Yujiro. Owens submits.

SECOND MATCH: CHAOS (Toru Yano & Tomohiro Ishii) vs. Suzuki-gun (Takashi Iizuka & Taichi)
Suzuki-gun attack their opponents before the bell. Taichi chokes Ishii with his mic stand. Taichi throws some stiff strikes at Ishii, but Ishii shrugs them off. The two exchange forearms. Ishii hits a Vertical Suplex. Taichi distracts the ref as Iizuka hits Ishii with a chair. Everyone Brawls On The Outside™.
In the ring, Iizuka tags in and corners Ishii. Yano tries to help, but it distracts the referee, Iizuka chokes Ishii with a rope. Iizuka stomps on Ishii and then chews on his head. Taichi tags in and continues the domination. Ishii fights back but eats a Cravate Kick from Taichi. Taichi rips off his pants but the Buzzsaw kick is blocked. Iizuka helps Taichi but Ishii fights back and chews on Iizuka’s head. Yano tags in and removes the turnbuckle pad. Yano beats Iizuka with the pad, but Taichi comes back and floors Yano. Yano gets sent into the exposed corner. Iizuka tags in.
Iizuka ches on Yano’s head. Iizuka ends up in the exposed corner. Yano grabs Iizuka’s beard. Iizuka goes after the ref. Iizuka chews on Yano’s hand. Iizuka shoves the ref. Iizuka chokes Yano with a rope. Iizuka grabs the Iron Glove. Yano blocks it with a backslide, but Taichi breaks the pin.
Yano ducks the Iron Glove and low blows Iizuka. Ishii hits a Lariat. Yano rollsup Iizuka for the pinfall.
WINNERS: CHAOS
After the match, Suzuki-gun assaulted a Young Lion with a chair.
THIRD MATCH: NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Champions Bullet Club (Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa & Bad Luck Fale) vs. Taguchi Japan (Ryusuke Taguchi, Togi Makabe & Michael Elgin)
Tanga and Elgin start the match. They lock up. Tanga corners Elgin and breaks, but Elgin ducks the clothesline. Elgin chops Tanga Loa’s chest and Tanga Loa did a strut. Tanga Loa beats on Elgin, but Elgin comes back with a chop and a side headlock. Tanga Loa hits a Saito Suplex, but Elgin keeps the headlock tight.
Dueling shoulder tackles sees neither man fall. Elgin blocks a leapfrog with a Powerslam. Elgin hits a corner forearm. Elgin hits a Second Rope Missile Dropkick. Elgin gets distracted by Tama and lariated by Fale. Everyone Brawls On The Outside™. Fale chokes Elgin with a microphone cable.
Elgin gets thrown back in the ring where GOD double teams him. Tama hits a dropkick. Fale tags in and dominates Elgin. Elgin blocks a bodyslam. Elgin tries to Body Slam Fale but Fale fights back. Elgin ducks a corner attack. Elgin hits an Enziguri.
Makabe tags in and beats on Fale. Makabe clears the apron. Makabe pummels Fale with forearms. Tanga Loa breaks up the assault but ends up getting a corner lariat. Makabe mounts Fale in the corner and pummels him with fists. Makabe tries to slam Fale but can’t. Makabe hits a Western Lariat for two.
Fale hits a shoulder block. Taguchi tags in. Tama tags in. Tama blocks the hip attack. Taguchi ducks a double team and then side steps a hip attack. Taguchi hits running hip attacks on Tama and Tanga. Taguchi goes for a Tiger Suplex but Tama fights out. Taguchi hits an Enziguri. Taguchi hits a Sliding Hip Attack for two.
Taguchi Japan run the bases on Tama Tonga. Fale and Tanga pull Elgin and Makabe out of the ring. Bullet Club triple team Taguchi. Elgin and Makabe break up the triple team. Taguchi hits Tama with a Hip Attack. Taguchi hits a 619. Taguchi misses a Springboard Hip Attack. Tama Tonga hits Gun Stun to get the pinfall.
