WrestleZone’s Lovell Porter was granted the opportunity today to speak with Impact Wrestling superstar Braxton Sutter.

You can find some highlights from WrestleZone’s interview with Braxton Sutter below.

Be sure to tune into Impact Wrestling this Thursday night at 8 pm EST on PopTV. You can follow our live coverage of the show starting at 7 pm EST on WrestleZone.com

On how he got his break into Impact Wrestling:

Braxton Sutter: It took a really long time. My story was a little different. I didn’t get my break in Impact until I was in my mid 30’s so it was late in age, you know what I mean? For me, I had to just focus in. After I was wrestling for over 10 years and I was over 30 I realized that no one is going to do this for me. I change a lot of things and started working a lot harder. I started traveling more too. I went to the U.K. with Global Force Wrestling and I went to Smash Wrestling in Canada. I did a few dates with Impact as well. It was after the last week of a three-week tour they offered me a contract.

On starting in Impact during its most tumultuous period:

BS: Since I have been there management has changed a bunch. Honestly, it hasn’t really felt like major changes. When I first got there the big thing on the internet was that there was low morale backstage at Impact. I never experienced it. There was one time we were filming one of the smaller shows and Earl Hebner did a Ric Flair spot and everyone backstage lost it. I remember Hurricane Shane Helms grabbing me and screaming, “Low morale! Low morale!”

On where the “low morale” rumors started:

BS: I would imagine that it was just someone who left the company who complained. Even with all of the changes I have never seen a negative effect. There is never much to complain about.
