Zack Sabre Jr. Wins New Japan Cup, Challenges Okada
Zack Sabre Jr. made history on Wednesday morning when he became the first British-born wrestler to win the New Japan Cup. Sabre is only the second Gaijin to win the Cup, since Giant Bernard won in 2006. Sabre defeated two-time New Japan Cup winner Hiroshi Tanahashi to earn a match for the Heavyweight title of his choosing. During his post-match promo, Sabre challenged Kazuchika Okada, and Okada accepted. The two will face off at Sakura Genesis on 4/1.
