New Japan Cup Predictions
With the field now down to just Tanahashi, Robinson, Zack Sabre Jr., SANADA, Toru Yano & Kota Ibushi, it’s looking more and more likely that we’ll get a Tanahashi/Ibushi matchup in the finals. Their rivalry from 2017 was the best thing that year that didn’t involve Kazuchika Okada, and this could be Kota’s chance to finally get a non-G1 win over the Ace of New Japan.
Will Ibushi’s reunion with Kenny Omega be able to survive, should Kota challenge Okada at Sakura Genesis?
Prediction: Ibushi wins the New Japan Cup.
Kojima Update
