Every Wednesday WrestleZone brings you all of the news from across the Pacific. This is New Japan Pro Wednesday…

Funding Nearly Complete For EGGSHELLS

Author and Wrestling Historian Chris Charlton has nearly reached the funding goal for his new book, EGGSHELLS. The book will be an in-depth look at the history of wrestling events in the Tokyo Dome. The funding campaign began on March 7th and has already met $4,787 of its $5,000 goal.

Charlton made the following statement available when the funding campaign began:

EGGSHELLS: Pro Wrestling In The Tokyo Dome went live on the Indiegogo crowd funding platform at noon on March 7 Japan Standard Time, and got off to a flying start. With a 5000 US Dollar funding goal, contributors brought the project to the halfway mark in just five hours, proving the demand for high quality English writing about the rich history of Japanese pro wrestling.
Funding will continue at https://igg.me/at/Eggshells until early April, with physical and digital copies of the book along with original art pieces among the perks for potential backers. More information and a free sample of the book can be found at www.eggshellsbook.com.
