In Ring Segment: Alexa Bliss and Mickie James
Bliss says last night was a historic moment. Bliss thought it was impossible but she amazed herself. She retained her championship by defending it in the first-ever women’s elimination chamber match. Years from now they will be talking about what Bliss accomplished. Bliss says she isn’t a selfish person (HA!) so she wants to give credit where credit is due- to Mickie James. Bliss thanks James for being a good mentor/friend even though they have had their issues last night. Bliss notes that the ladies in Absolution are very talented and have a bright future ahead of them… just not while Bliss is champion. Bayley is just a sad situation. Bliss says she capitalized on Sasha Banks biggest issue- her ego. This just isn’t Banks year. Bliss points to the WrestleMania sign. Bliss says she has always wanted to do that. In six weeks, Bliss is going to break Asuka’s streak. After last night there is probably nothing left of Asuka. Asuka power walks to the ring as Bliss points and laughs.
Bliss says Asuka pranced to the ring like she is perfectly healthy but they all know she isn’t. Bliss says Nia Jax deserves to be in the championship match. Bliss says she will give Asuka clarification because she knows Asuka’s English isn’t that great. Bliss mocks Asuka. Bliss tells Asuka to whip that smile off her face before she does. “She” is Nia Jax, who runs down to the ring. Asuka kicks Bliss and backhands James. Jax runs over Asuka. Jax picks up Asuka but Asuka turns it into a triangle choke. James and Bliss jump back in the ring and attack Asuka. Bayley and Banks run in and back up Asuka. After a huge brawl, Bliss drops Asuka with a stiff right hand.
