Ronda Rousey Contract Signing
Kurt Angle, Triple H, and Stephani McMahon are in the ring. Stephanie McMahon says tonight we are all going to be part of history. Triple H says they search the world looking for competitors worthy of the WWE Universes admiration. Triple H says there hasn’t been a more decorated signee since Kurt Angle. Triple H says she has earned the right to be called the “Baddest Women on the Planet”. Triple H welcomes Ronda Rousey to the ring. Stephanie says she is honored to be the first person to welcome Rousey to the WWE. Rousey thanks, everyone and tells Angle it’s an honor to be in the ring with another Olympic champion. A loud “Ronda Rousey” chant breaks out. Rousey gets emotional. Rousey thanks “Rowdy” Roddy Piper for being her inspiration. Triple H says let’s get down to business. Much to Rousey’s credit, she didn’t want any special perks in her contract. Rousey says she wants to earn everyone’s respect and wants to be treated like everyone else.
Triple H says once Rousey signs her contract she will not only be a WWE Superstar but she will also have a match at WrestleMania. It won’t a title match, but it will be a match. Rousey says she wants to earn her first title match so that’s fine. Stephanie gives Rousey’s a pen to sign the contract. Triple H and Angle are having a conversation off to the side. Before Rousey signs the contract she asks Angle if he has something to say. Angle says he is amazed by Triple H and Stephanie. He has been hearing them talk about getting back at her for years since she made them look foolish at WrestleMania. Angle says backstage Triple H said, “three years in the making and now we own the bitch”. Triple H tells Angle to shut up. Rousey is staring daggers at Triple H. Triple H tries to say Angle is sick and that’s why he is talking crazy. Triple H and Angle leave the ring. Stephanie says they have been talking about Rousey since that WrestleMania.
Rousey embarrassed them but she also impressed them even more so. As Angle is walking up the ramp he adds that Stephanie said that Rousey is a has-been and even Stephanie could take her. Rousey gets in Stephanie’s face. Triple H runs to the ring and steps between them. Rousey gets in Triple H’s face. Triple H leads Stephanie to the other side of the ring. Triple H walks back over to Rousey. Rousey lifts Triple H up and puts him through the table in the ring. Stephanie slaps Rousey. Rousey stares at Stephanie as Stephanie backs away. Rousey signs the contract and leaves.
