SIXTH MATCH: NEVER Openweight Champion Hirooki Goto vs. Beer City Bruiser

Bruiser charges Goto to start but can’t fell the champion. The exchange shoulder blocks until Bruiser knocks Goto down and rubs his face in Bruiser’s crushed cigar. Bruiser hits Goto with a huge hand and sends him to the outside. Bruiser hits a running rolling senton off the apron.

Bruiser runs Goto into the ring apron and chops away at his chest. Bruiser takes a swig of beer and then rolls Goto into the ring. Bruiser covers but only gets two.

Bruiser keeps Goto grounded. Bruiser covers for two.

Bruiser stomps on Goto. Bruiser hits a running dropkick for two.

Bruiser taunts Goto and hits a kick to the face. Bruiser spits beer in Goto’s face. Bruiser covers but only gets two.

Bruiser works a nerve hold. Goto fights out and hits a series of chops. Bruiser corners Goto, but Goto fights out. The exchange strikes. Goto hits a running clothesline, knocking Bruiser down. Goto whips Bruiser into the corner and hits a kick to the jaw. Goto attempts the Saito Suplex, but Bruiser fights. Goto hits the Saito Suplex for two.

Goto goes for Ushiguroshi but can’t lift Bruiser. Bruiser hits corner splash. Bruiser hits a running hip attack. Bruiser hits a cannonball. Bruiser hits a Vaderbomb for two.

Bruiser goes for a slam, but Goto locks in a sleeperhold. Bruiser powers out. Goto goes for a Penalty Kick but Bruiser counters with a Powerbomb for two.

Bruiser goes to the top rope but Goto recovers and hits a top rope Ushiguroshi, but he didn’t get all of it and only gets two.

Bruiser hits a huge slam for two.

Bruiser goes to the top rope and goes for a frog splash but Goto rolls out of the way. Double clotheslines but both men stay on their feet, then Bruiser takes out Goto with a clothesline. Goto hits a headbutt to Bruiser’s heart and then hits GTR for the pinfall.

MAIN EVENT: Golden Lovers (Kenny Omega & Kota Ibushi) & Chase Owens vs. Bullet Club (Cody, Marty Scurll & Hangman Page)

Cody throws a fit over how much the crowd loves The Golden Lovers. Ibushi and Page start. Cody and Page conference. Page and Ibushi lock up. Page wins the lock up and breaks with a shove. Page drops Ibushi with a Shoulder Block but Ibush gets right to his feet.

Owens tags in and hits a snap suplex on Page. Omega tags in and they hit a Wishbone Split. Owens tags in and they hit a wishbone split. Omega tags in and the do a wishbone split. Owens tags in and they do a wishbone split. Omega tags in and beats on Page. Ibushi teases the tag but Cody clears Ibushi off the apron.

Scurll tags in and argues with Omega. They lock up and Omega gets the better of a chain series. Scurll gets a front facelock and then a headlock. Omega powers out into wrist lock. Scurll flips out and neither man gets the better of a chain sequence.

They lock up. Omega gets a headlock and then hits a shoulder block. Cody kicks Kenny from behind and Page pulls Omega’s leg. Scurll stomps on Kenny’s hand and then refuses to break Omega’s hand. Ibushi kicks Scurll. Owens and Ibushi clear the apron and everyone hits hip attacks on Scurll. Owens hits a Gut Check for two.

Owens fights off all three of his opponents but eventually falls. Page hits a running shooting star for two. Scurll works over Owens’ arm. Cody tags in.

Cody hits a top rope elbow on Owens’s arm. Cody cartwheels and flips off the Lovers. Cody kicks Owens. Page tags in and dominates Owens. Scurll tags in and works the arm. Owens clears the apron and climbs the ropes. Scurll recovers and hits a Superplex.

Cody tags in and clears the apron.Cody and Page mock Kenny’s Terminator but Marty refuses. Cody and Page hit Rise of the Terminator on Ibushi & Omega. Scurll does a Terminator poser followed by an apron superkick to Owens. Cody hits Chase Owens with a beer and rolls him in the ring.

Cody hits a stalling facebuster. Cody stomps on Owens’s hand. Owens chops Cody. Cody fights back but a bulldog attempt gets countered with a throw. Owens reaches for a tag but Cody shoves him out of position. Cody blows them a kiss and then hits a backbreaker on Owens. The Golden Lovers tag in. Scurll tags in. Scurll eats a Roundhouse Kick/Kotaro Krusher, followed by a Double Dropkick on Hangman Page. The Golden Lovers Cross Swords with the double Golden Triangle.

In the ring, Kenny powerbombs Scurll into a German Suplex from Ibushi for two. Ibushi & Omega go for the Double Knee combo but Cody breaks it up. Ibushi hits a Pele Kick to Page. Omega hits Scurll with a V-Trigger. Cody and Omega exchange strikes. Cody goes for Cross Rhodes but Omega counters with V-Trigger. Omega hits Snap Dragon. Omega goes for V-Trigger but Page flips into the ring and lariats Omega. Cody kisses Omega on the cheek and goes for Cross Rhodes but Ibushi hits a dropkick. Ibushi kicks Page. Scurll hits a Brainbuster on knee to Ibushi and locks in the Crossface Chickenwing but Ibushi makes it to the ropes.

Scurll goes for the chickenwing, but Ibushi rolls out. Scurll & Rhodes hit a Doomsday Dropkick for two. Page tags in.

Page gets thrown out of the ring. Hurricanrana to Scurll. Page flips into the ring but eats a roundhouse from Ibushi. Owens tags in and hits a lariat. Owens goes for a Package Piledriver but eats a super kick. Owens goes for another Package Piledriver but it’s reversed into Rite of Passage for the pinfall.

WINNERS: Cody, Marty Scurll & Hangman Page.

After the match, Omega and Cody brawl on the outside. The Young Bucks run out for the pull apart. Ibushi and Omega leave the arena, while Cody argues with the Bucks. Bullet Club leaves angrily. Cody stays in the ring.

Cody asks for a microphone. He welcomes the crowd to night 1 of Honor Rising. Cody says he’s the face of Ring of Honor. He says you’re either Team Kenny or Team Cody. Cody says that the Golden Lovers reunion ended before it could start. Cody calls Kota Ibushi “Kenny Omega’s rat.” Cody says Bullet Club is fine. Cody says “Bullet Club is mine.”
