The New Day will challenge The Usos for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship after they won a number one contender’s match against Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin on tonight’s episode of WWE Smackdown Live.
The New Day will get their title shot at the WWE Fastlane pay-per-view; Daniel Bryan confirmed the title match was set for the event last night on Twitter. The group’s celebration was cut short, however, as The Bludgeon Brothers made their entrance immediately after the match, further playing up the fact that they are looking to get into the tag title hunt.
