Backstage, Owens tries to thank Zayn. Zayn says he needs to thank Owens. Since joining Owens Zayn is where he belongs. It’s all because of Owens. Zayn says Owens doesn’t need another enemy he needs his guardian angel. Zayn is going to pay back his friend for everything he has done for him. They aren’t going to fall into Shane’s plan. When they get to the title match, Zayn says they will take out everyone else. When it comes down to the two of them Zayn says he will lay down for Owens so Owens can main event WrestleMania. Zayn hugs Owens and Owens looks extremely confused.
Number One Contenders Match: The New Day vs Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable
After a few leap frogs and drop downs Woods floors Gable with a clothesline. Woods is about to hit the ropes but Benjamin kicks him in the back. Benjamin hits the ring and destroys Woods with a spine buster. Woods lands a few punches followed by a kick to the gut. Benjamin responds with a running knee. Woods kicks out. After the break, Woods manages to tag in Big E. Big E. clears the ring. Gable picks up Big E. and hits a massive belly-to-belly for a near fall. Gable mounts the top rope for a moonsault. Big E. moves out of the way but Gable lands on his feet. Corner uranage by Big E. Benjamin and Gable hit their finisher on Big E. but Kingston gets on the apron and distracts the referee as Benjamin has Big E. pinned. Woods breaks up the pin. Woods hits a shining wizard on Benjamin for the win.
Winners- The New Day
After the match, before New Day can get up the ramp the Bludgeon Brothers come out. Rowen glances at New Day but there is no interaction between the two teams.
