Update: Men’s Elimination Chamber Match To Feature 7 Participants Following Split Decision On WWE RAW

Kurt Angle just made a breaking news announcement on WWE’s Facebook account and declared Seth Rollins and Finn Balor will both compete in the Elimination Chamber match, making it the first time 7 people will participate in the match.

Tonight’s episode of RAW was supposed to determine the final spot in the men’s Elimination Chamber match, but the show closed with more questions as a double pin by Seth Rollins and Finn Balor led to an undetermined result. The final moments of the match saw Balor and Rollins, a late addition to the match, both make the cover on Bray Wyatt and the referee counted the pinfall.

Rollins entered the match after he pleaded with Kurt Angle to give him a chance to make his Wrestlemania moment, saying Jason Jordan being sidelined shouldn’t mean he misses out. Angle ended up listening to the WWE Universe, who said Rollins should get in, and announced tonight’s main event would be a Fatal 5 Way match.

Shortly after the show ended, it was announced by WWE that Angle would take part in a live interview on WWE’s Facebook account to address the situation. Angle then listened to both Balor and Rollins’ complaints about the result, and said they both deserved a spot in the match.
