TJP and Cedric Alexander are moving on in the newly announced WWE Cruiserweight Championship tournament after they won their opening round matches on 205 Live tonight.
Cedric Alexander defeated Gran Metalik in the opening match, while TJP ended up beating former WWE United Kingdom Champion Tyler Bate in tonight’s other bout.
At the conclusion of tonight’s show, the following matches were confirmed to take place on next week’s show:
- Lince Dorado versus Kalisto
- Hideo Itami versus Roderick Strong
