In Ring Segment: Stephanie McMahon
Stephanie welcomes everyone to Monday Night Raw. Stephanie says last week the celebrated 25 years of Monday Night Raw and tonight they kick off 25 more. Stephanie goes on to put over the women in the Rumble last night. With all the history made last night they topped off the night with the debut of the newest WWE Superstar, “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey… but that was last night. Tonight is about the winner of the historic first women’s Royal Rumble, Asuka! Asuka joins Stephanie in the ring. Stephanie congratulates Asuka on her victory. Stephanie says before Asuka chooses who she faces at WrestleMania she may want to wait because Alexa Bliss may not be women’s champion at WrestleMania. Bliss will defend the Raw Women’s Championship in the first-ever women’s elimination chamber match.
Asuka thanks Stephanie and the WWE Universe before launching into a promo in Japanese. Asuka points at the WrestleMania sign. Stephanie says she understood that. Asuka says she will win the championship because no one is ready for Asuka! Sasha Banks interrupts. Banks apologizes for interrupting. Banks says last night was a dream come true. Banks just wanted to come out and congratulate Asuka on her victory. For the last two years, Asuka has been undefeated and yelling the no one is ready for her. Last night Banks proved that she can go the distance. Banks is ready for Asuka tonight! Stephanie makes the match official. For the first time ever Banks will go one-on-one with Asuka.
