PWInsider.com has a new report out looking at some backstage and live details from Ronda Rousey’s WWE debut last night at the WWE Royal Rumble.

- The reaction of the live crowd to Rousey’s debut was much louder and more impressive live than on the tv
- A loud “Holy sh*t” chant broke out once the fans realized she was debuting and it wasn’t just a Rousey promo package
- Rousey’s debut was a huge shock to many in the WWE locker room
- She was not listed on any of the production sheets
- She was not seen in the building until about 10 seconds before she walked out on stage
- Rousey was wearing Roddy Piper’s signature leather jacket, which she was gifted by his family after his passing
- The plan was never to have Rousey wrestling in the Rumble match
- WWE wants to save her first match for WrestleMania
- The current speculation is that she could face Charlotte Flair but that is not in stone
